Dangote Spaghetti

The Pasta Plant began operations in the year 2000 with one line producing 60 tonnes of pasta per day. Another line with a capacity to produce 75 tonnes of pasta per day was installed in 2002. Production was again increased in 2003 with the addition of 2 more lines with the capacity to produce 75 tonnes and 60 tonnes respectively.
2 more production lines with an installed capacity of 230 tonnes per day were added in 2008. Also in 2008, a mill to process wheat for the raw material used in the pasta plant was commissioned. The mill has an installed capacity of processing 800 tonnes of wheat per day and providing 560 tonnes of semolina daily (raw material) for the pasta plant.

He has a wide experience in manufacturing, human resource management and marketing having worked in multinational manufacturing companies in Nigeria and India.
Over the years, he has worked as Erection Engineer, Technical and Planning Manager, General Manager and Vice President/Chief of Operations of various manufacturing companies. These include Precot Mills Ltd., Coats Viyella LTD and Machinery Manufacturers Corporation Ltd all in India. He also worked as Technical and Planning Manager at Royal Spinners Ltd., in Lagos Nigeria. He was President and Director of Precot Meridian LTD between for several years.
He joined Dangote Pasta Ltd as MD/CEO in February, 2010.
