Usen Udoh, Group Chief Human Resources Officer
Mr. Usen Udoh is the Group Chief Human Resources Officer of the Dangote Group. Mr. Udoh is an alumnus of the prestigious Harvard Business School and holds an MBA from the University of Leicester School of Management, his first degree being of Bachelors of Engineering (with Hons).
He has completed several leadership courses at the Accenture St. Charles Centre of Excellence, including Performance Management, Value-Driven Programme Development, Business Management, Executive Leadership Mentoring, Business Analysis and Process Re-engineering.
Usen left as a Managing Director of Accenture after working with the firm for 23 years, having worked in several countries, including Brazil, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and the United States, while with Accenture. He is also currently a member of the Board of Directors of InoyoToroFoundation, an NGO dedicated to eradicating poverty through quality education. He is also a Special Marshal with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
Prior to joining Dangote on May 2, 2014, Usen worked across several industries leading major industry change programmes at board room level in Banking, Telecomms, FMCG and Public Sector. In addition, he provided leadership for the Accenture Management Consulting workforce in Nigeria.
His cross-country experience and skills span human resources strategy formulation, corporate direction setting, large scale organisation review, business process redesign, business diagnostics and enterprise business transformation, implementation of policies, processes and procedures, project and programme management. He is a certified SAP SRM, SAP R3 expert.He is currently crafting and implementing a new human resource strategy for Dangote Group that would drive HR practices in the SBUs and the Group. He is also providing leadership for the transformation agenda at the Dangote Academy, integrating this valuable asset into the execution of the capability enhancement of the new HR strategy.
